Sonata Software Reports Q4FY23 Normalised Profit of Rs 8 Crore Despite One-Time Acquisition Cost

Sonata Software, an IT services and technology solutions company, has reported a 3% sequential decline in profit for the March quarter of FY23 at Rs 113.8 crore. However, the bottomline included one-time acquisition costs of Rs 13 crore, and the normalised profit was Rs 126.8 crore for Q4FY3. The company’s revenue from operations for the quarter was Rs 1,913.5 crore, a decline of 15% compared to the previous quarter. While domestic business declined by 22% QoQ to Rs 1,383.4 crore, international IT services business grew by 9% to Rs 533.5 crore. Additionally, the company declared a final dividend of Rs 8.75 per share for FY23. Overall, Sonata Software has continued to navigate a volatile market and remains focused on delivering long-term value to its stakeholders.
